The City Council of León has opened the competition for the poster of the Fiestas de San Juan y San Pedro 2026, highlighting the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence as a novelty. This contest, open to creatives over the age of 16, seeks to represent the identity of León in a key visual element of the festivities.
Competition rules
From 1 April, anyone over the age of 16 can take part in the competition, without having to be a professional graphic designer. A prize of 1,250 euros will be awarded to the winner, along with runners-up prizes of 100 and 50 euros. The call for entries ends on 21 May, at 14:00 hours, and proposals are expected to reflect the essence of León and its traditions.
Artificial Intelligence at play
One of the innovations of this edition is the possibility of using AI in the creation of the posters. Participants are asked to indicate whether they have used AI in their work, marking a step forward in transparency about its use in art competitions. This reflects the growing impact of AI in the creative field.
Successful model
While there is no set pattern, figurative depictions often captivate the jury, especially those that reflect the youth, music and festive atmosphere of León. Likewise, modern reinterpretations of iconic elements of the city often stand out, always in a colourful and clean style. All entries, regardless of style, have a chance of winning.
Come and participate and contribute with your creativity to the poster of the Fiestas de León 2026!
